Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!! 

Here is the birthday girl, my mammaw Mable and her precious great-grandson Cade. We celebrated her 90th birthday this past weekend. :)

Yesterday, I hosted my last event for a while! I am so excited! :) I keep a clean house, but knowing I am hosting something makes me clean even more. The past two months I have had a Beauti Control party, a Pampered Chef party, and a baby shower. For the next few months all I have to worry about is going home, attending my own showers, going home again, eating and sleeping. Oh, and work. :) I am so relieved. I don't mind to clean, I think it is having to do it by a certain time or day that stresses me.
Our friend that I had the shower for gave us our baby gifts. (since she will be a little busy with her new baby during my shower.) The items were so sweet and useful! We were so excited! They new Aaron loves the Packers...they got Harper a pink onesie (sp) with the Greenbay Packers logo on the front! It is so cute! Aaron was really happy about that! They also got us one of the "nose suckers." Aaron hates those things, he says they are awful! When I saw it in the bag, I died in laughter!!! I have told him over and over that babies can't blow their nose and she has to breathe. He says it sounds like their brain is being sucked out. Whatever---my child will have a clean nose!
We had a good weekend, it was good getting to see old friends. We have our 3/D 4/D ultrasound appt. Wednesday. I will post new pictures!! Have a great week everyone. :)

She has a name...

Brynn Harper Davis


After many, many discussions we finally have a name. I never knew it would be so hard. I don't know what she will be called because I call her "Baby Harper" and Aaron calls her "Baby Brynn." I guess we will have to wait and see. I love them both. We go for our 3D/4D ultrasound Nov. 3. I can't wait, we will be able to see her little face so well. Hopefully, if she cooperates. :) Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I will be having some special visitors and I can't wait! Aaron is going hunting all weekend. I will post pictures soon! :)

After chaning my mind several times, this is what I finally picked out! It is chocolate brown but looks black to me. I love it! :)

Question for the day

What method do you prefer? Cleaning and doing chores a little throughout the week, or waiting until the weekend to do them.

Pilot lights & Black Crowes

We have been having a wonderful weekend. Getting winter clothes out, packing summer tanks and bathing suits. (I could have done that several months ago!!) We even had to run our heater, how exciting! I froze all day yesterday while Aaron was at work. I didn't want to mess with "lighting" the pilot light. I have watched him do it before at other houses, but didn't want to blow the house up. I waited until he got home to ask him to do it for me. He said, "baby, I have never seen a place to light it." We searched around the house looking for it. Well, I search around the house looking for it. He stood in the living room smiling at me. He said, "I think it is all electric..." So I run over to the thermostat and turn it to heat. Wow, it came right on. I froze all day for nothing!!!!!!! :) How funny, he laughed at me for a while.
One of Aaron's friends called him yesterday asking if he wanted to go see the Black Crowes. He won tickets and couldn't go. He was tired, I was tired. We couldn't get each other motivated to go, so we started calling people trying to give them away. (It was at Mud Island, outside.) We called 9 different people and nobody could go. I was so surprised! The Black Crowes!!!! Hello!!!??? I have been singing their songs in my head all day. We ordered Chinese food last night and I gave them to the delivery guy. He was so excited and said he was going to try to get off work and go! Yaay!! We found someone!!! I hate something going to waste like that. I am tempted to order again and ask him how it went! :)

I have not been motivated to post anything, but I thought this was so cute! Jennifer sent it to me through email. It said, "what happens when: you have a sharp knife, you have a large lime, you have a patient cat and it is football season?" We are doing great here, just busy. :) Have a great week everyone! ;)

81. I have been sooooooooooooo forgetful lately.
82. I can not stand to see people drive right over railroad crossings without even looking!
83. I am still very organized, even though my brain is gone.
84. I love for my mom to come and visit us, she is such a blessing to have.
85. Mexican food and lettuce are the only things that have hurt my stomach.
86. I love this time of year...visiting family, decorating, eating!! :)
87. My hair is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!
88. We watched The Wedding Date and Diary of a Mad Black Woman this weekend. They are my new favorite movies! Very good movies.
89. I have entered a new stage...some of my maternity clothes don't fit. Yaay! HaHa
90. Aaron will have to start shaving for me soon.
91. Desperate Housewives starts again tonight!!!!!!! I can't wait!!! :)
92. We also watched The Ring 2. It was alright, I just wasn't in the scary mood.
93. Aaron loves boxing and we watched Vladamir Klitsko (sp?) fight last night. The Klitsko brothers fight so clean and they aren't cocky, we love them.
94. Oh yeah, he won!
95. I have been feeling very sensitive lately. I have realized a lot this weekend and am feeling much better.
96. I can't wait to come home for a visit this weekend.
97. I can't believe Halloween is almost here again. It seems like I just had my pumpkins out.
98. I love Fall, I wish it could last 10 months.
99. I hope the hurricanes are finished now.
100. I will get my braces off soon!!!! :)

Fun times

I have been having a blast with my mom. I wish she could stay forever. We ate pizza one night, went to my favorite restaurant another, grilled the next night and ate leftovers the next.
We had another Dr. visit today, we got a long video of the baby. It is just amazing how much she has grown since last time. I am so excited and ready to see her.
We went to the fair tonight, I have been waiting on the fair! I ate some kettle corn, a corn dog and an ear of roasted corn. And two bottles of water, it was so hot! The roasted corn is what I get every year, it is so good!!! A local group has it, it isn't like carni food. It is like heaven!!!!!! Yumm!!!!!!!! I might have to go back later this week and get another ear. (we will see how tonight goes first!!) Have a good week everyone.
